Ararat I is a cube satellite to be constructed by Ararat Robotics. The purpose of the satellite is to provide a platform for preliminary testing in the Lower Earth Orbit in preparation for future lunar missions. Currently, the team is researching all aspects of satellite construction and mission planning, everything from initial drawings, measurements, simulations, and risks, to timelines, costs, and team management. Ararat I will explore concepts ranging from electrolysis and fuel production to ground communications, data processing, and mission control. Ararat I is in the very early stages, and we are on the lookout for capable and passionate members.
